Local activities include therapeutic healing waters at the hot springs, bicycling (rentals), horseback riding, hot air balloon rides, local spas, paddle board, canoeing, fishing, hiking and skiing at Wolf Creek.

 

For families, tubing at the river is very popular and refreshing in the summer. Paddleboarding, fishing, the historic train ride in Durango (60 miles away) is also a wonderful experience for the whole family. The hot air balloon festival and rides are quite a tourist draw every year and don't forget the hot springs!

 

Pagosa Springs is quite an amazing place surrounded by nature. Many people come to Pagosa exclusively for the hot springs which are considered "Healing Waters" from the deepest geothermal springs in the world!
